When and Where We Were Founded

Eighteenth Avenue Family Enrichment Center was founded in 1934 as the Negro Youth Work Committee with the mission to provide wholesome recreational programs for male youth. Its mission has expanded to include services that make a difference in the lives of North Nashville families and individuals. The center is a central part of the community, providing services that touch the lives of people of all ages.
