3 Star Rated Child Care
Infant/Toddler and pre-school care is provided for children ages 6 weeks to 5 years of age. Fees are self pay or subsidized by Dept. of Human Services.
Through nurturing care and educational stimulus, our program's objectives are to help children make a smooth transition from to school; to help children develop their fine and gross motor skills; to help children develop independence; to help children build a positive self image; to promote success in the child's environment; and to prepare children for success in elementary school. DLM and Frog Street Express are the curriculums used for the prek classrooms and Preschool 1st is used for the younger age groups. Service is available for up to 98 children.
After School
The After School Program provides recreational activities, assistance with homework, social skills development and safe, loving care. Serves children ages K5 through 12 years old.
Summer Camp Program
Boys and girls participate in a seven to nine-week camp each year. This program focuses on the arts and includes recreational activities, educational field trips, and academic review. Serves children ages K5 through 12 years old.
Christmas Assistance
Through the Toys for Tots program, private donations and contributions, toys are provided for children in the 37208 zip code at Christmas time. Families requesting assistance are screened though an application process to determine need. Age appropriate toys are selected by the parents at the Center’s Toy Store. Serves children ages 2-12 years of age.
Cub Scouts
Cub Scout Troop #218 and Troop #220 (Clark Memorial UMC) serves boys in grades 1-5.
